What Polymath Classical Tutorials Collects
The only information we collect is 1) information volunteered via email correspondence or 2) information needed to process payments. For example, we collect the following information when necessary, or when you provide this information when emailing us:
- Names
- Email address
- Mailing address
- Email messages
3rd Party Plugins
We use Jetpack for site analytics, and they collect some information as laid out in this privacy policy.
All the information we receive about our site visitors, however, is anonymous records detailing visitor & click counts, and referral links.

Payment Processing
We process payments primarily through Stripe (privacy policy), and use Paypal (privacy policies) as a fall-back payment option when necessary.
Software used for live classes
We use Zoom as our virtual classroom (privacy policy).
All class meetings are recorded and uploaded to Vimeo (privacy policy). All students receives links to for their recorded classes, and all class recordings are password protected to prevent non-students from accessing class recordings.

Embedded content from other websites
Some pages on this site may include embedded content (e.g. videos hosted by Youtube). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website.
These websites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking, and monitor your interaction with that embedded content, including tracking your interaction with the embedded content if you have an account and are logged in to that website.
Who we share your data with
If you place a book order, we may share your name and address with our printer if the book ships directly from the printing house.
We will never sell your information. Period.
How long we retain your data
If you place an order with us or register for a class, we retain the necessary information as long as necessary for bookkeeping and tax purposes.
If you send us an email, we retain the messages indefinitely to better serve you should you contact us again.
How to take charge of your privacy online
Avoid Google Chrome. Use Brave or Firefox or Vivaldi.
Adjust your browser settings for better privacy. (e.g. Firefox is a good browser, but the default settings are too permissive.)
